Grade Replacement Opportunity (GRO)
General Information
Grade Replacement Opportunity (GRO) offers students the ability to replace grades of C, D, and E by repeating the course. Grades earned using the GRO will replace one previous grade for the course in calculating the grade point average (GPA), even if the grade from the repeated attempt is lower than the first attempt. Both the original grade and the grade from the repeated attempt remain on the academic record. Courses eligible for GRO will be listed in the student's UAcces Student Center. For details, see the undergraduate GRO policy in the catalog. A separate policy exists for Law students in the JD program; see the Law College dean's office for details.
Graduate, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine students are not eligible for GRO
